is seeking an Entry Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist with 0 to 3 years' experience to join our team in Clifton Park, NY.
This candidate will help manage and grow existing site investigation, brownfield, remediation, environmental site rehabilitation, and leaking AST/UST tank projects throughout New York State.
A variety of challenging assignments will be offered to the successful candidate, including the design and execution of hydrogeological investigations, remedial actions, construction oversight, and environmental assessments.

Responsibilities may include (depending on experience level):
Environmental data managementSite assessmentsEQUIS or equivalent electronic data deliverable (EDD) format and interactionSite characterizations of soil, ground water, surface water, and sedimentsRemediation investigation and studies (RI/FS)Remediation Design, implementation, and oversightClosure and post closure monitoringPermitting/application reviewsData analysis and interpretationReport and proposal preparationClient interactionOther duties as assignedWork experience and knowledge to include (depending on experience level):
Multi-media field sampling and logging techniquesOversight and management of subcontractorsConstruction oversightMonitoring well design and installationGeospatial data collection and analysisKnowledge of regulatory NY-DEC frameworkAnalytical Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)Site response activities/Interim Remedial Measure (IRM)Site-Specific Health & Safety Plans (HASP)Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP)Field Activities Plan (FAP)Environmental site assessments (Phase I/II/III)Due DiligenceReport preparation and an aptitude for technical writingGroundwater/soil remediation technologiesJOB REQUIREMENTS:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
